PRICE, Shirley, of Levin. 6th April 1931 – 17th June 2025, aged 94. Passed away peacefully and surrounded with love. With of the late Harry Price (dec). Loved mother of Cheryl, Diane, David (dec), Carolyn ‘Tootie’ (dec), Julie and Kim. Much loved Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. A big thank you to the staff at Te Whanau rest home for their care of mum. A memorial service for Shirley will be held on Thursday 26th June, 1pm at the  I. C. Mark Ltd Funeral home,  545 Queen Street East, Levin.

QUAYLE, Betty who passed away in Levin on 12 June. Dearly loved and cherished wife of 65 years of John. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Debbie and Mark, Gary (passed away 2005) and Nikki, loved nanna of Jennifer, Melissa and Nathan, great grandmother of Kyle.  Deeply missed after a lifelong friendship with cousin Graeme and Carol (England). Remembered with fondness by all who came to know her spirit, energy and kindness. Special thanks to the staff of the Masonic Village Care Home for their support of Betty in the last 3 months of her life. They showed compassion, dignity and good humour. We farewelled Betty on 18 June at a family funeral followed by private cremation.

Much loved mother & mother-in-law of Christine and Paul, Robyn, Michelle and Russell, grandmother of Taryne, Olivia, Rhys, Kerri, Lara, Lisa, Amanda, Georgia and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral to be held at The Funeral Home, 545 Queen Street, Levin on Friday June 13 at 2pm. REID, Shane Stephen 12 February 1969 - 16 April 2025, aged 56 years – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shane, who died peacefully at his home in Foxton, surrounded by his much loved whanau after a sudden and short illness.

Kia hora te marino, Kia whakapapa pounamu - te moana, kia tere te Kārohirohi I mua I tōu huarahi.

May the calm be widespread, May the ocean glisten as Greenstone, May the shimmer of light ever dance across your pathway.

Shane will be very much missed by his parents Marie & John Hailwood, his father Edward Reid, siblings, Tiana Jacqueline, Carmen, Robert & Paul.  He will be especially missed by his nieces Eva & Keeley.  A much love mokopuna of Teira Hemara (dec’d) & Oriwa Reihana (dec’d). Shane will lie in state at home 3 Johnston St Foxton,and will then be taken to The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 20 Brown St, Foxton.  A Private Cremation will follow at the Avenue Crematorium, 39 Avenue North Road, Levin. The family would like to thank everyone who has supported and cared for Shane.

Loved sister of the late David and Warrick, sister-in-law of Marion and Robert, and the late Bob and Nan.
